Ten Usapratumban, Retouching Intern
Born on February 10th, his grandmother decided to call him after the day he was born, and that's how he got his name. Ten was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand. He moved to New York in 2018 and received a BFA in Photography and Video at the School of Visual Arts.
FIRST ENCOUNTER WITH PHOTOGRAPHY: Ten was born right at the transition between the end of the analog era and the exciting beginning of the digital age. For that reason, Ten grew up around quirky early digital cameras while being photographed on film in his childhood years. His earliest memory of photography was when he discovered his father's Kodachrome slides and viewer; however, it was not until high school that he inherited a Pentax K-1000 and fell in love with photography.
GUILTY PLEASURES WHILE RETOUCHING: Ten loves to switch between history, true crime, and unsolved mystery podcasts. He will listen to Thai rap if he needs a little energy boost.
